Students will receive an additional day to complete eLearning work if they have power outages. They must communicate with their teacher and Mrs. Armstrong (Darmstrong@lowcountryleadership.org) for the extension.

Teachers are not required to provide live lessons for one day of emergency learning and can schedule assignments in Schoology and send information to families via email. Teachers will be available via email for questions from families or students regarding the e-learning assignment.

Classroom teachers will send an e-learning email, template provided, to their parents and students. It will clearly communicate what is expected for the day and attach any resources needed.

All students with disabilities at our school currently are able to utilize online platforms and technology related to their needs and have appropriate resources and educational materials for student use in the event of emergency e-learning weather days.  All will have access to all accommodations and services will take place with live direct instruction. Students that may have a power outage or other difficulty will be provided with compensatory services upon their return, and have access to all assignments and resources through Schoology.
